Community Volunteer Day

Join us on Saturday, October 14th from 12pm to 4pm for a community volunteer day! We will be repairing fences, cleaning barns, and doing a wide variety of other projects to enhance the lives of our animal residents and keep the sanctuary in tip top shape.

Age Requirement:

If you are younger than 18 you must volunteer with your parent or legal guardian. 

What to Bring:

Close-toed shoes are required at all times for safety and water bottles, sunscreen, and work gloves are recommended.

What Not to Bring:

For the safety of all animals and guests, companion animals are not allowed at the sanctuary (even in your car) and there is no smoking anywhere on the property. If you bring your own snacks we ask that they be free of animal products (meat, dairy, eggs, honey, gelatin, etc.) out of respect for our residents and mission.

Safety Waiver/Photo Release

Please make sure to complete our online safety waiver/photo release before arriving at the sanctuary to ensure we can start on time:  https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/609b1841c338a/web/.  While this is not a tour day, you may see and interact with some of our animal residents while volunteering, and we will go over safety procedures at the start of the day.  Thank you for volunteering at Blackberry Creek!
