Tours and Upcoming Events

Due to COVID-19 our sanctuary is currently closed to visitors and new volunteers. We can't wait to see you again when it's safe for everyone!

Blackberry Creek normally offers tours to the public the first Sunday of most months spring through fall with special events scheduled during the holiday months. Tours are $10/person (under 2 are free). Reservations are limited so that guests have the opportunity to engage with animals in small group settings. Please see dates below and click on the upcoming month (link active several weeks before the date) to make a reservation.  See our FAQ's page for additional visitor information.

Educational Tour
Our regular guided tours are offered only to guests 12 years and older due to the desire to have the undivided attention of the adults in the group for the important education we provide on the tour and to be able to discuss the oftentimes tragic ways our animals ended up in our care.

For families with younger children, we offer separate events and tours with age-appropriate information about animal agriculture. See event schedule below.

Private Tour
To schedule a private tour or field trip please call (530) 680~1918. The private tour lasts an hour and a half with a fully guided stop at each species of animal. The cost is $200 for a group of up to of ten visitors.
