About the event
We unexpectedly lost our beloved, elderly steer, MacFarland just three days after his 22nd birthday. We had planned to do our annual MacFarland meet and greet to kick off Big Day of Giving at Animal Place in Grass Valley where the moo crew is at Cow Camp enjoying the fresh, spring grass, and we will now spend that day honoring his life together and giving his cow family some extra love.Come meet the moos, help us celebrate Mac's life, learn how you can help animals in your everyday life, and check out fellow sanctuary, Animal Place with an educational or self-guided tour.
This event is free but Big Day of Giving donations are appreciated in order to help us care for the animals all year-round!
🍌🍏🍉You can bring bananas, sliced apples, or sliced melon to share with the cows if you choose. Safety waivers will be sent alongwith a reminder email the weekend prior to the event, and boots are required for safety during tours of Animal Place!
